On February 7th, 2015, the Mayetta Rural Fire Station held their Second Annual Soup Supper. The firefighters and the families of the firefighters made and served Chicken and Noodle soup, Chili, and Vegetable soup, along with various homemade deserts, to those who came in to take part in the Soup Supper. At the end of the night, the Mayetta Rural Fire Station made around $400 from the donations of the community. The Mayetta Fire Station would like to thank those who came out and participated in the soup supper and donated to us.

Grass Fires: 61
Auto Wrecks: 49
Fire Alarms: 44
Structure Fires: 25
Other Fires/Calls: 13

Total Calls: 377
The average fire call takes two hours. The average medical call takes one hour. This means the Mayetta Rural Fire Department ran about 1.3 calls a day in 2014. Also, non-call hours donated to the community by the firefighters was 3,000 hours.
